Attention all DIY lawn care enthusiasts. Purdue University Extension is offering a 2 week course geared toward homeowners, property renters, and homeowners associations. The series will cover the skills and knowledge of turf management basics needed to help you create, establish and maintain your lawn.
Session Topics Include:
- Basics of Taking Care of Lawns
- Lawn Pests and Problems
- Weed Identification and Management
- Seeding Establishment and Lawn Renovation
The virtual series of classes will take place live on Zoom March 14th, 16th, 21st, and 23rd from 11-1pm EST. The live classes offer the ability for question and answer, but each session will be recorded and those who register can watch the recordings for up to 60 days.
It only costs $10 to attend this series and the price includes supporting materials and resources for all sessions. Anyone can attend and there are no limitations for who can sign up. Registration ends March 7th.
The course will be taught by Purdue Extension Educators located in North Central Indiana.
